Owner and guest detection in a shared summer cottage deep in the northern forests
The dot came in handy when we thought of how to identify and communicate with people visiting our summer cottage in the north of Scandinavia. Currently we are are about 20 families who share the farm.
The dot could help us see how many people there are visiting, in what houses, when, if any of the six owners are there and to facilitate support functionality and to spread cost to those who are visiting.
First, two dots will be used for handling access to the technical systems, solar energy and a generator in the barn.
Secondly, one dot in each cabin, barn and livinghouse will ensure statistics of how many visitors there are over time.
